The Art of making Floral Essences: Flower essences, through a subtle and magical fabrication process, download the subtle powers of the plant’s vibrational information. This information, when taken internally in the body or applied topically has the capacity to change emotions, moods and blockages. They can also be great tools to help us go through changes of life, grief or protect us from negative influences.
These flower elixirs are truly like “software” that when downloaded create shifts and resonances with certain emotional patterns. They have the power to reach into emotions that have been experienced from a young age or along the journey of existence. These traumas when internalized often leave traces that express themselves through reactions, sensitivities and fears, stopping us from opening ourselves to our highest potential and to finding peace and happiness.“Blocked” emotions have been scientifically shown to get trapped in the tissues of the body when the trauma is not addressed nor resolved. Flower essences are incredible allies for healing and shifting into a new vibration or paradigm. These magical extracts can also be added to skin care treatments therefore enhancing dramatically the effects of your formulas. They can also be used in everyday life rituals to overcome shortcomings, giving us the strength to make the changes that we deeply desire for ourselves. These essences can also have a powerful protective effect helping each one of us to face the world as it is, and help us adapt to the constant changes that are occurring on the planet. They can be easily added to formulas that can be used internally or externally. These flowers elixirs can also be used in complement with other forms of therapies to treat the “deeper” layers of the issues around chronic skin, health or psychological conditions.

Floral tinctures and repeated extractions for perfumery
Often people see tinctures as strictly medicinal extracts used in herbal therapy, nevertheless, tinctures can be amazing bases for perfumery blends. Repeated extraction processes, solvent choices as well delicate and gentle methods will bridge the realm of flower and botanical extraction with the art of aromatherapy. Students will create a custom aromatherapy blend to match the artisan-crafted alcohol extract presented that day.
